Farmers Market / Street Fair Booth Team Member

Description/ Expectations:

Have fun in the Seattle sunshine this summer while supporting a very worthy global cause! We are looking for outgoing and engaging individuals to man the Roses & Rosemary information booth at various street fairs and farmers markets in the area throughout the summer. Our goal is to increase awareness of the work of Roses & Rosemary, the impact our work has in the lives of the HIV orphans of Africa and how concerned citizens can help…even from thousands of miles away.  The booth, displays materials and speaking points will be provided!

Qualifications/ Skills:

·         Friendly and engaging

·         Cares about making a global impact

Tasks:

·         Engaging with the community and providing information to interested individuals

·         Answering questions about HIV orphans and the work of Roses & Rosemary

·         Collecting donations or contact information from individuals interested in making a difference

·         Brainstorm ideas for new booth locations in the Seattle Area (Farmers Markets, Fairs etc) and/ or ideas to make the booth more engaging

·         Setup and tear down of booth (30min task)

·         Must have own transport.

·         Have Fun!

Time Involved:

4-5 hours per event – normally Saturday or Sunday during the day.

We will soon be putting up a calendar of times and locations you may sign up for. Please email is if you are interested in helping out once the calendar is up or if you have ideas for great locations for our booth!
