Copy Writer/Editor

Description/ Expectations

We are looking for an experienced copy writer/ editor to be responsible for helping us write creative and effective copy for our marketing materials, leaflets and web content.  We would also like this person to review our current materials and offer suggestions.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

·         Experience writing copy and editing for nonprofits preferred but not required

·         Ideas about how to create effective messaging for specific nonprofit audiences

·         Writing samples requested

Tasks:

·         Create original slogans, messages and strap lines

·         Creating the wording for our marketing materials including:

o    Posters

o    Leaflets

o    Brochures

o    Web and digital content

o    Press

o    Radio or television scripts

·         Proof and edit marketing or informational content others have written

Time Involved

+/- 5-10 hours per month
